degus!

So our degus are still very afraid of people. They are babies and they have not been handled very often. We are working our way up to being able to hold them. We're starting by feeding them oats from our hands.

 

 

 

Once they are used to us we will try to pet them, and then maybe eventually hold them. The kids are very excited about them!
