We did a science experiment to determine which of our paper airplane designs would fly the furthest. We followed the steps of the Scientific Method.

 

Then we recorded our data,

 

and made a graph. We are now calculating the average (mean) distance that each plane flew and we will have our results tomorrow. Stay tuned...

 

Also, the students played Bocce ball in P.E.

 

This is what your child will have for homework if they did not finish it in class. They will be bringing home a tracking sheet in their home folder that details whether or not the work was finished in class. Also, we have started read and respond. The first log is due on Tuesday. I encourage the students to work on these any chance they have in class, and they also will have time to finish them over the weekend. Please be sure to sign your child's planner!
