The third day of school was great. The students are doing a really good job learning the school rules and procedures. We are working on some posters of the school rules to hang in the hallways. The kids wanted me to tell you that, because they did a great job walking in a straight and quiet line on the way back from lunch, they were able to play a couple rounds of Heads Up Seven Up.
As you may have been told, it gets very hot in our classroom in the afternoon. Thankfully today we got a reprieve because Cody Farias' mother, Renee, brought us a fan!

If your child has not already brought in their "In the Bag" assignment, please make sure they bring it in by Friday. Also, if they have their reading logs from the summer they need to bring those in. And, please be sure to sign your child's planner each night even though there aren't any assignment right now. Starting next week there will be.
