These first two days of school have focused mainly around getting to know our classroom procedures and our classmates. Yesterday the students interviewed a partner and today they introduced that partner to the rest of the class. It was fun!

If you didn't see the parent letters that went home yesterday, please ask your child to see them. And the only homework I have assigned so far is the "In the Bag" activity, due Friday. Please be sure to sign your child's planner each night anyway. Also, as you may have seen on the schedule I sent home yesterday, our lunch is very late, not until 12:50! Many students have complained about being hungry, so it may be helpful to send an extra snack.
